Not the best buffet (S$68++) at Orchard Hotel, in truth. The first thing that irked me was the lack of dim sum, when a huge sign clearly stated “Dim Sum”. But nevermind with that.
The selections were pretty wide – the usual sashimis, satays, indian corner, chinese food, thai fried fish, salads, ice cream, desserts, laksa station, roast duck and suckling pig station, and cold seafood.
Surprisingly, there was oyster omelette as well! To be fair, the laksa was pretty good – especially so as you could take as many quail eggs as you wanted – the mango icecream was very flavourful. Other than that, everything else was average.
And the air-con needs to be much colder – couldn’t believe I was perspiring indoors.
