Nestled in one of Nottinghamshire’s posher areas, The Cod’s Scallops is a favourite for all – from international uni students to local retirees living around the area. It’s not hard to see why, especially with the widely-acclaimed fish and chips joint the 3rd best in the entire UK.

The most popular choices for fish are the cod (£8.50) or haddock (£8.90) – you can choose whether you want your fish breaded or battered, and the price includes chips or potato salad, and tartar sauce.
